Information
Barricane Bay, which is also known as Combesgate is the small rocky cove at the northern end of Woolacombe. The sand here is made almost entirely of shells, many of which are derived from the tropics. The rocks have numerous rock pools and in general this beach is much quieter than nearby Woolacombe.

There can also be some nice peaky waves here at low tide. Easterly winds are offshore.

There is car parking available near the beach and a small shop just behind the beach. Other amenities are available in Woolacombe.
